The earlier you submit your data, the better the chance that it will be linked to the book that includes your branch of the family, or data on the miscellaneous Rice families of the state where your earliest known Rice ancestor lived.
There are several advantages to having your Rice family material in one of these books. The most valuable feature is that it will place your own Rices in the Rice Data Base that will go on-line after the last book is published. This data base will link many peoples' ancestors to an earlier Rice generation, allowing them to track the line back to the immigrant.
